Goat anti HIV-1 gp41
This purifed goat polyclonal antibody has been raised against a recombinant a pool of E.coli derived HIV-1 gp41 and gp120 antigens conjugated to a muramyl dipeptide based adjuvant employed to elicit high titer polyclonal antibody. Antigens were sourced from Arista Biologicals Inc PA, USA. ELISA based peptide mapping studies have confirmed high titer reactivity to HIV MN env peptide (NIH) in the following regions (6332)IEPLGVAPTKAKRRV, (6360) CTTTVPWNASWSNKS and moderate activity to multiple other regions on the env polypeptide. The antibody gives strong bands of reaction against gp41, gp120 and gp160 antigens in western blot assays.
The antibody has been purified by fractionation of raw plasma in association with ion exchange chromatography to produce a >98% pure caprine polyclonal IgG in an isotonic sterile saline solution at 10mg/mL.
